<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleaning composition exhibiting a good foaming characteristic and moderate to skin and eyes, without harming its safety . <P>SOLUTION: This composition contains (a) approximately 0.1-12.5 % definite anionic surfactant and (b) a crosslinked anionic acrylic copolymer modified so as to have definite hydrophobicity of approximately 0.1-8 %. In this case, the weight ratio of the component (a) to the component (b) is approximately (1:1) to (40:1), and the composition does not substantially contain a definite amphoteric surfactant.
