PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging/audio communication device which can be installed at any place and monitored in real time with a mobile terminal or a personal computer located at a remote place. SOLUTION: The imaging/audio communication device is composed of an image pick-up camera (2), such as CCTV camera or a digital camera, a highly directional microphone (3), a sensor (4) which takes in signals from outside, a telephone, such as a mobile telephone, PHS or the like with a data communication function, or a communication card (5) with the same function, and a solar battery which serves as a power supply for all components.
