PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a pointer according to dimensional information and directional information of an output of an analog joystick outputting a vector signal on the basis of operation by a user, and to give a click feeling to the user in every movement of the pointer and a cursor or the like in a car navigation device in which the pointer, the cursor or the like is moved by a predetermined amount in the direction based on a single inputted direction signal on a display screen. SOLUTION: A signal conversion part 3 in the joystick 1 outputs the direction signal, which is based on the directional information included in the inputted vector signal, at a transmission frequency based on the dimensional information included in the vector signal inputted from an analog joystick part 2. An output data conversion part 37 gives a driving force to an operation lever 31 by using a motor control part 38 and motors 33 and 32 every time when the direction signal is output.
