PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner utilizing heat source water, which can improve cooling efficiency and heating efficiency. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises: a first fan coil 53 and a second fan coil 54 which are provided not to superpose with each other in an air flowing direction, and exchange heat with indoor air; a first fan 52a and a second fan 52b which suck the indoor air in the first and second fan coils and blow out the air after heat exchange into a room; a freezing cycle which circulates a refrigerant through a compressor 1, a first refrigerant/water heat exchanger 5, a flow control valve 7, and a second refrigerant/water heat exchanger 9; a water circulating means which guides heat source water to the first fan coil through the second refrigerant/water heat exchanger, and discharge water flowing out of the first fan coil through the first refrigerant/water heat exchanger, as well as guides a part of the heat source water to the second fan coil, and combines water flowing out of this second fan coil into the water streams going from the first fan coil to the first refrigerant/water heat exchanger; and a controlling part which controls the operation/stop of the freezing cycle in accordance with an air conditioning load.
