PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which has flame retardancy and gives a wood-like texture. SOLUTION: The resin composition is formed by incorporation of 10-200 pts. wt. of a wood flour impregnated with a flame-retardant liquid into 100 pts. wt. of a vinyl chloride resin or olefin resin. It is preferable that the wood flour prior to the impregnation of the flame-retardant liquid is≤100 mesh and has a water content of≤5%. The flame-retardant liquid is a chlorinated paraffin, phosphate, etc. Where deemed necessary, an oxidation inhibitor, crosslinking agent, crosslinking aid, processing auxiliary, filler (flame retardant, titanium oxide, carbon, calcium carbonate, etc.), colorant, foaming agent, or the like is incorporated.
