PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator hall door device capable of preventing an elevator shaft from forming an funnel at the time of fire by increasing gastightness between the elevator hall and the shaft applicable to an exciting elevator, with a reduced cost and time without impairing aesthetic appearance. SOLUTION: In this hall door device having a door panel 4a which opens/closes a gate 3 for the elevator hall 1, and an operational bore 6 which is formed at the door panel 4a for inserting an operational fitting M for manually operating a door lock device of the door panel 4a, a cover body 8 for opening/closing the operational bore 6 is attached at a front surface of the door panel 4a through a pin 9 so as to be rotated freely. At the time of normal operation, the operational bore 6 is closed tightly with the cover body 8 to cut off flow of air from the elevator hall to the shaft. For releasing the door lock device manually, the cover body 8 is rotated to open the operational bore 6, thus operating the operational fitting M by inserting the operational fitting M into the operational bore 6.
