摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor of a customer by providing only proper information in a preventive maintenance service to the software of a customer system. SOLUTION: This preventive maintenance system judges the application validity/invalidity of a patch and a recommended patch for a customer system based on customer system information and patch detail information from a patch information DB and a customer information DB, and confirms the patch pertinent to the customer system. Furthermore, the extraction of the patch is executed by a patch extraction processing function in response to a request of a customer for the confirmed patch so that the arrangement of the patch information by the customer can be executed at a support side, and that the labor of the customer is reduced.
