PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter that can measure a gas flow rate, with high precision. SOLUTION: The gas meter comprises a gas passage 21, ultrasonic transmitters/receivers 34 and 35 arranged to measure the flow rate of gas flowing through the gas passage, and a control part for measuring the flow rate of gas, according to the outputs from the ultrasonic transmitters/receivers 34 and 35.
