PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip solid electrolytic capacitor that has high capacitance and is good in ESR. SOLUTION: In the chip solid electrolytic capacitor, parts of an anode and a cathode of a capacitor element are connected to anode and cathode terminals. The capacitor is armored and sealed except lower bottom surfaces, a part of the lower surfaces and side faces, or whole surfaces of the anode and cathode terminals, and the connecting surface of the cathode terminal with the capacitor element is larger than the whole connecting surface of the capacitor element with the cathode terminal.
