PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner capable of improving the maintenance by simplifying a mounting structure of an electrical component case mounted in a machine room. SOLUTION: A partitioning plate 4 is mounted on an approximately intermediate part in the vertical direction, of a unit main body 11 to divide the inside of the unit main body into upper and lower two rooms, a heat exchanging room 2 provided with a heat exchanger 12 and an air blower 17 is formed at an upper side in the unit main body divided by the partitioning plate, and the machine room 3 provided with compressors 20, 21 is formed at its lower side. A suspending part 40 is formed at an upper end part of the machine room, a hook part 37 of the electrical component case is engaged with the suspending part to be suspended from the machine room, and a locking piece part 32 for locking a lower end part of the electrical component case is formed on a bottom plate 7 of the unit main body.
