The invention relates to a fuel assembly (1) for a pressurised water nuclear reactor. The inventive assembly comprises first nuclear fuel rods (15) having a first mass concentration of gadolinium and second nuclear fuel rods (17) having a second mass concentration of gadolinium. According to the invention, the second concentration is greater than the first concentration and, in addition, the first mass concentration is strictly greater than 2 %.
