<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily align sheets without bending by providing an inclined piece for suppressing the warp of the upper end of a sheet housed in an intermediate tray on a sheet width-fitting guide. SOLUTION: When a cursor 572 is reciprocated for alignment of sheets in the state where the warped part of a sheet housed in an intermediate tray is protruded from an inclined piece 572c, the warped part is slid while making contact with the inclined piece 572c and gradually pressed to the intermediate tray side. Namely, since the sheet receives not only the sheet lateral force but also the force vertical to the sheet surface when the warped part makes contact with the inclined piece 572c, the warped part is pressed to the intermediate tray side without bending the sheet, and the alignment of sheets by the cursor 572 can be satisfactorily performed. Since the inclined piece is provided on the cursor in a finisher in this way, the sheets can be satisfactorily aligned without being bent even if the warped part of the sheet carried into the intermediate sheet is protruded from the inclined piece.</p> |
