<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-component developer which is high in image density and is less in fogging even at the time of repetitive use and an image forming method. SOLUTION: This developer is composed of toner particles which contain at least a binder resin and coloring agents and have a volumetric 50% diameter Tt50 of 5 to 12μm and a glass transition temp. of <=60 deg.C and external additives. The external additives consist of aliphat. metallic salt particles and flow property improving agent. The developer is so formed as to satisfy the formula 1.5<=B/A<=3 when the specific surface area by the nitrogen adsorption method of the toner particles before the addition of the external additives is defined as A(m<2> /g) and the specific surface area of the toner particles by the nitrogen adsorption method after the addition of the external additives is defined as B(m<2> /g).</p> |
