<p>An enclosure 35 for an automated teller machine (A.T.M.) 1 comprises a first wall 11 and a second wall 21 which are each mounted on the A.T.M. 1 by hinges 23, 31. When the walls 11, 21 are fully opened they meet along a common edge 33 to form a secure enclosure 35 in which bank notes can be loaded into the A.T.M. 1. The walls 11,21 are retracted to lie flush with the housing 3 of the A.T.M. 1.
