PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the superposing part of impulse response signals each other, and to educe the operation amount, by cutting off both ends of the impulse response signals. SOLUTION: A repeating cycle T of an impulse response signal is changed according to the sound height, and the length Lt of the impulse response signal is also changed according to the tone color. By the values of the T and the Lt, a superposing amount of the ends of neighboring impulse response signals is determined. This superposing amount is made as an end part cut-off data ΔLad, and the addresses Δ Lad parts are read out and cut off at both ends of the above impulse response signals, at a reading out part 53. Consequently, the ends of the impulse response signals are not superposed. Furthermore, a window function vale is weighted composed from a window memory 71, to the cut off ends. The cut-off ends are made smooth, consequently. |
