<p>The method involves measuring impedance of a transformer winding according to a frequency, and comparing the impedance measurement with a reference measurement. The impedance and reference measurements are represented in the form of respective voltage gains. Relative variation of a resonant frequency greater than 10 kilohertz is determined by comparing the voltage gains. An independent claim is also included for an expert computing system.</p> |
