<p>Proximity sensor arrangement (10), especially for triggering the detonation of a warhead a pre-determined distance away from a target object (12), comprises a transmitter (14) transmitting a modulated signal (16) in the direction of the target object and a receiver (18) receiving a reflection signal of the frequency of the signal transmitted by the transmitter. The receiver has at least one PMD detector element.
