The device has a movable unit with a flap (3) whose one pivoting end has a sprocket wheel (7) to control the pivoting of the flap. The wheel is coupled to a cylindrical axis of the end of the flap mounted in rotation in the corresponding pole (5). An endless screw permits the driving of the wheel to bring the flap to releasing position or closing position of an air flow passage opening. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle including an air flow adjusting device.
