A working station for plate element processing machine, capable of processing a sheet that is thinner and more flexible than a sheet processed according to the prior art, is provided. A working station for plate element processing machine comprises: a frame; a working tool(9) on which a plate element is disposed; a traversing gripper bar(2) for gripping the front edge of a sheet; two flexible driving units formed in an endless loop shape and respectively connected to one end part of the griper bar; a means for guiding the driving units to the upside of the frame; and a means for bring about the griper bar closer to the working tool when the griper bar passes through an end part of the downstream of the working tool, wherein comprises one or more traversing link shafts(5,6) relative to the driving units, and a pull back means for maintaining the griper bar at a fixed position relative to the traversing link shafts and a descent cam(10) of the grip bar connected to one or more cam sensors(12) for forming a lever arm relative to the traversing link shafts and connected to the frame are disposed on a track of the sensor for rotating the griper bar around the link shafts to temporarily bring about the griper closer to the working tool. |
