A digital contents reproducing device and a reproducing method thereof are provided to determine a reproduction order of digital contents recorded on an R/W(Read/Write) CD based on of a physical position, thereby reducing a mobile distance of an optical pickup module for reproducing the digital contents. A key input unit(10) outputs key signals corresponding to plural reproduction modes, respectively, according to a user operation. A reproduction order arranger(40) determines a reproduction order of digital contents stored on a recording medium(1) in a corresponding reproduction mode, if a key signal equivalent to a reproduction mode change is inputted. A data reader(20) reads the stored digital contents according to the determined reproduction order, and outputs the read contents as electric signals. A reproduction signal processor controls a driving of the data reader(20), restores the signals outputted from the data reader(20), and outputs the restored signals as digital signals. A signal converter(50) outputs the signals outputted from the data reader(20) to a connectable predetermined output device.
