A device for keeping the degree of freshness and deodorization is provided to adsorb and resolve the gas generated from a closed space efficiently by a porous adsorption agent and a photo catalyst. The device for keeping the degree of freshness and deodorization comprises a porous adsorption agent(11) which adsorbs gas molecules generated from stored goods and essentially comprises activated carbon fiber; a photo catalyst(12) which is composed of a transition metal oxide for resolving the gas molecules and located in a lower part of the porous adsorption agent; and a light source(13) which activates the photo catalyst and is located in a lower end of the photo catalyst.
