The beam (30) has a peak (60) at the top, which conforms to the shape of a standard light fixture (40) box frame (46) supported by the beam (30) in the ceiling. The beam (30) 3oes not interfere with the proper support of the fixture frame (46) on the beam flanges (32, 33).
