A method and apparatus for evaluating and authenticating a computer game through the Internet is provided to evaluate the computer game by a game specialist by on-line through a game evaluating organization according to items, store the evaluated results in a database, and provide game information such as quality and level of the game. A game developing company accesses an authentication center server for evaluating and authenticating the game(S120). The game information is transmitted to an evaluating organization server by a tester terminal(S124). The evaluated result is stored in an evaluating DB and transmitted to an authentication center server(S126). The authentication center server generates authentication data according to the evaluated result and registers the authentication data in an authentication DB(S134). When a user terminal requests the evaluated result and authentication, the authentication center server accesses the evaluating DB and authentication DB and provides the corresponding evaluated result and authentication(S136,S138).
