The bicycle inner tube (1) is made from a straight piece or circular of rubber or other material and at its outer ends has male and female coupling halves (4). These are located at the tightly vulcanized outer ends of the tube. The tube is fitted around the developed length of the wheel rim (6). The tube valve (5) is fitted and the two coupling halves are coupled to each other. They hold the two ends together and withstand shocks which may occur during cycling. The couplings are vulcanized to the two ends (3) of the tube and at the edge of the tube is a vulcanized seam (2).
