An image apparatus for supplying status information and a method of supplying the same are provided to enable a user to easily recognize the fact that broadcast data is stored by overlap by displaying a part where overlapped broadcast data is stored with a different color. A storage part(400) stores a broadcast signal received from a broadcast station in a certain data type. A control part(300) controls display of broadcast data stored in the storage part and that of status information according to the broadcast data. A display part(500) displays the status information of an image apparatus under the control of the control part.
