THE METHOD OF DETECTING LEAKS IN AIRTIGHT METALLIC BODIES USING LIQUID CRYSTAL SHEET

A method for detecting leaks in airtight metallic bodies using a liquid crystal sheet is provided to quickly detect the leaks by using a liquid crystal sheet. A liquid crystal sheet(40) having a predetermined size is installed in such a manner that the surface part of a target is spaced from the surface of the sheet. The ambient temperature of the installed liquid sheet(40) constantly maintains. The liquid sheet has a specific color. Gas is pressurized to the inside hollow part of the target through an intake port(21). The intake port(21) is formed in such a manner that the inside hollow part of the target is connected. The color change of the liquid sheet(40) is detected. The gas has a predetermined temperature difference from the ambient temperature.
