A method for operating a plurality of FAs in a base station is provided to make a channel list of normal FAs for efficient FA operations with respect to a speech call and a data call, and allocate a traffic channel resource of a data only FA when a data call is requested. A method for operating a plurality of FAs in a base station comprises a step(S37) of transmitting and a step of allocating. In the transmitting step, the base station separates data only FAs from normal FAs according to a FA type, manages the separated FAs, and makes a channel list including the normal FAs to transmit the channel list to each mobile station. In the allocating step, the base station allocates a traffic channel resource of the data only FAs when a data call is requested from a predetermined mobile station located within a coverage of the base station.
