A method for a game using a dual tone multiple frequency in a mobile terminal is provided to implement a game of rock, scissors, and paper by transmitting information with a companion. A game is selected during a conversation using a mobile terminal. When inputting information for victory and defeat, DTMF(dual tone multiple frequency) is generated and transmitted according to a key value of the inputted information. When receiving the information for the victory and defeat, the received DTMF is detected and the key value of the inputted information is determined. The inputted information and the received information are compared. The victory and defeat result is displayed.
