A pipe joint is provided to connect and fix a pipe firmly against drawing force by integrally turning and securely fitting a displacement restricting ring in assembling a cap nut with a pipe joint body. A pipe joint is composed of a joint body(13) having a male screw part(19) and a cap nut(5) thread-connected to the male screw part of the joint body. A C-shaped displacement restricting ring(1) is composed of a cut portion formed in a circumference, and an inner blade formed in the end of the cut portion to cut a recessed groove(4) in an outer periphery(12a) of a pipe(12). An outer periphery of the C-shaped displacement restricting ring is arranged and contacted to a tapered inside(6) of a hole part(25) of the cap nut, and the cap nut and the C-shaped displacement restricting ring are integrally turned by a common turning unit. The common turning unit is composed of a recessed groove part axially formed in the tapered inside of the cap nut, and a fitting protruded part fitted to the recessed groove part and formed in the outer periphery of the displacement restricting ring.
