FIELD: iron and steel industry; equipment for purification of blast furnaces top gases from a dust. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of iron and steel industry, in particular, to dust catchers used for purification of blast furnaces top gases from a dust. The invention ensures an increase of the dust-catching efficiency. The dust-catcher consists of a cylindrical-conical body with the branch-pipes for dust-gas mixture feeding, withdrawal of the gas and the dust discharge; an electromagnetic system of a dust trapping with the magnetic conductors, the cellular core made out of a ferromagnetic material. The dust catcher is additionally equipped with the stop ribs to be used for mounting of the dust catching electromagnetic system with the magnetic conductors and the cellular core, and for fixation of their position in the space. The branch-pipe for feeding of the dust-gas mixtures has a diffuser made out of the non-ferrous metal, the lower part of which is arranged on the level of the lower part of the cellular core. ^ EFFECT: the invention ensures an increase of the dust-catching efficiency. ^ 3 dwg |
