FIELD: applicable in industry and military equipment, using the blasts of explosive charges. ^ SUBSTANCE: channels of a closed profile are made before the solid area protected against the shock wave capable of plastic deformation of the structure. They are oriented with the surface containing the minimum dimensional size of the channel towards the expected appearance of the explosive. The distance between the extreme channel and the nearest external boundary of the solid is selected not in excess of 10 minimum dimensional sizes of the channel, and the distance between the channels is selected not in excess of three minimum dimensional sizes of the channel. The channels are filled with a material having a density not exceeding 0.2 of the initial density of the material of the solid. ^ EFFECT: reduced pressure of the shock wave passing through the solid to a value at which further plastic deformation of the solid essentially decreases (or eliminated at all); the degree of suppression depends on the length of the channels, their quantity and layout relative to the shock wave, which is selected proceeding from the initial pressure at the front of the shock wave and the required strength of the structure. ^ 3 cl, 1 dwg |
