FIELD: railway transport; permanent way. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed rail has U-shaped head with carrying cheeks and support semifoot members and foot with carrying post, and both fasteners. Carrying cheeks of head and carrying post of foot are made displaced relative to each other in different sides. Carrying cheeks are provided with displaced step side projections including cheek support planes, support cheeks and said semifoot members to form inner stepped seat space. Foot with carrying post is made for placing inside said stepped seat space. Air buffer space is formed between head and carrying post. Displacement of carrying cheeks of head relative to carrying post of foot is made owing to five bolt fasteners fitted in holes of said members. Invention makes it possible to dispense with step bolt joints or bringing their number to minimum to eliminate "down falls" in ballast bases and asphalt coating in zone of butt-joint of rails. ^ EFFECT: improved conditions of operation, reduced noise and service expenses of rail tracks. ^ 2 cl, 6 dwg |
