FIELD: building materials, particularly for filling cavities, namely cable driving areas, in buildings and structures, for instance in tunnels, to prevent fire spreading through above structures. ^ SUBSTANCE: barrier is formed of rockwool panel covered with fire-inhibiting composition. Fire-inhibiting composition includes the following components taken in % by weight: acrylic dispersion 11.0 - 33.0, pentaerythrite 1.8 - 21.8, titanium dioxide 0.2 - 5.0, melamine 3.7 - 22.0, ammonium polyphosphate 13.5 - 33.5, ethylene glycol 0.2 - 10.0, glycerin 0.2 - 3.0, cellulose ester 0.1 - 5.0, plasticizer 1.0 - 3.5, remainder - water. Fire-inhibiting composition layer thickness in dry condition is 0.8 - 1.0 mm. Panel covered with above composition is placed cable-way so that summary thickness of "panel-interior space-panel" zone is not less than 300 mm. ^ EFFECT: increased fire-protection due to provision of fire-resistance rating of not less than 1.5 hours, reduced toxity thereof. ^ 3 cl |
