FIELD: microbiological control. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for controlling microbial infection damaging various types of fuels and consists in that fuel is treated with pulse microwave fields combined with UV emission. During experimental treatment fuel temperature remained constant within measurement inaccuracy limits. When 100% killing of microbes was achieved, composition of diesel fuel remained unchanged. ^ EFFECT: increased safe storage time of fuel. |
