FIELD: abrasive working, possibly in metallurgical and machine engineering industry branches for working cylindrical surfaces, namely of hard-to-grind materials having trend for occurring flaws such as burnings and cracking. ^ SUBSTANCE: face grinding wheel includes disc chuck and working abrasive members in the form of standard abrasive beams with square or rectangular cross section. Said beams are secured to -shaped guides by soldering or cementing; shape of said guides corresponds to that of working abrasive members. Disc chuck has system of openings for fastening (with use of screws having countersunk heads) -shaped guides carrying abrasive beams in such a way that they form equilateral polyhedron whose facet number is no less than three and no more than six. It allows realize intermittent grinding mode. ^ EFFECT: lowered temperature in grinding zone, simplified change of worn abrasive members. ^ 3 cl, 5 dwg |
