FIELD: thermal processing furnaces. ^ SUBSTANCE: furnace has heating section and high-temperature section adjoining from the top to heating section. Heating section is equipped with muffle preferably heated with gas and is further equipped with connecting stopper of heat-insulating material for high-temperature section, said stopper being inserted from the top into muffle. High-temperature section is further provided with muffle preferably heated with gas. Muffle embraces connecting stopper from the outer side thereof and is connected with it in gas-tight relationship, preferably through hydraulic seal. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing desired final temperature to metal strip without danger of overloading said muffles, and reduced weight. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
