The present invention relates to the compounds 6- [4-(N-methyl -3-azetidinoxy) -5-ethyl- 2-methoxy-phenyl] -pyridin-2 -ylamine, 6-[4- (N, N- dimethylaminomethyl)- 5-ethyl-2 -methoxy- phenyl]- pyridin-2 -ylamine, 6- [4-(N- methylaminomethyl) -5-ethyl- 2-methoxy-phenyl] -pyridin-2 -ylamine, 6-[4- (3-azetidinoxy) -5-ethyl -2-methoxy- phenyl] -pyridin -2-ylamine and 6- [4-(2- dimethylamino -ethoxy)- 5-ethyl -2-methoxy- phenyl] -pyridin-2- ylamine, and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, to pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds and to the use of such compounds as nitric oxide synthase inhibitors in the treatment and prevention of central nervous system and other disorders.
