A telematics apparatus whose volume is adjustable for each audio channel is provided to reduce inconvenience of adjusting volume at each time by having a desired volume level set for an audio source or a group to which the audio source belongs. A telematics apparatus comprises a plurality of audio sources, a memory(260) and a controller(250). The memory stores a plurality of volume levels set for each of the audio sources. The controller sets a corresponding volume level among the volume levels stored in the memory according to an audio source selected by a user. The audio sources comprises a channel of FM/AM, a channel for an audio tape, a channel for CD, a TV audio channel, a voice memo channel and a voice channel for guiding road information.
