The method involves assembling a micro-lens matrix (42) and a microphone plate (50) having a laser active material layer between two reflector units. Individual assemblies (45) having lenses and IR or ultraviolet radiation sources are cut. The microphone plate and the reflector units are assembled at the matrix of micro-lenses by splicing. The plate is placed directly on the matrix of micro-lenses by deposit and/or by growth.
