A throttle body of an engine is provided to reduce discharge of nitrogen oxide by mixing fresh air with exhaust gas evenly at low load of the engine, to improve performance of the engine by decreasing intake resistance of an intake system, and to increase freedom of design by reducing the occupied space in an engine room. A throttle body of an engine is composed of a fresh air inlet part having a first flow passage(10) penetrated longitudinally to flow fresh air into a combustion chamber of the engine and a rotary valve regulating an amount of fresh air flowing into the first flow passage, an exhaust gas inlet part having a second flow passage(14) formed independently in an outer periphery of the first flow passage at a side of the fresh air inlet part, and a communication unit communicating the fresh air inlet part with the exhaust gas inlet part and guiding inflow of exhaust gas into a relatively high flow speed range of fresh air within the flow range of the fresh air inlet part. |
