An apparatus for radiating heat of a capstan motor in a magnetic recording player is provided to radiate heat generated during operation of the capstan motor by contacting a motor driving device to a deck-sash. An apparatus for radiating heat of a capstan motor in a magnetic recording player comprises a capstan motor(22), a motor substrate(34) and a motor driving device(36). The capstan motor is arranged in a deck-sash(20) and includes a rotator(30) and a fixing device(32). A capstan axis is rotated with the rotator rotated by an electromagnetic interaction in the capstan motor. The motor substrate includes various parts for controlling a drive of the capstan motor. The motor driving device is mounted on the motor substrate where the motor driving device is set in a through-hole formed through the motor substrate, and a portion of the motor driving device is contacted to the deck-sash.
