A manufacturing method of a tartar remover and the tartar remover manufactured therefrom are provided. A tartar remover removes plaque and tartar by crude fibers, inhibits injury of a teethridge by the crude fibers by virtue of starch, and prevents the bleeding by virtue of lotus roots. The manufacturing method of a tartar remover comprises the steps of: coating crude fibrous vegetable powder with lotus root juice, drying and pulverizing the mixture; and mixing the lotus root coated crude fibrous vegetable powder with salt powder and other additives, wherein the crude fibrous vegetable powder is selected from pine leaf powder, Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer powder, bamboo leaf powder, green tea powder, mugwort powder and Polygonatum officinale All powder; and the weight ratio of the crude fibrous vegetable powder to lotus root juice is 100:10 to 100:40.
