A furniture whose width is changeable is provided to adjust the width of the furniture by connecting a shelf to the outside of a furniture to enable the shelf to slide left and right. The furniture whose width is changeable includes a furniture body(2) and a shelf(4) having horizontal bars(8) and vertical bars(20) connected to the horizontal bars(8) to support the horizontal bars. The shelf is connected to the side of the furniture body(2) by a rail transporting unit. U-shaped brackets are fixed to the bottoms of the bottom plate(10) and the upper plate of the furniture body, and the horizontal bars(8) of the shelf are inserted inside the bracket to move in a rail-like manner.
