PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform an editing work of indexing of a video image. SOLUTION: An apparatus for editing information can edit a plurality of screen image information of a scene unit which advances in an aging manner and image information corresponding to a plurality of moving image information imaged in the scene corresponding to the screen image information. The apparatus includes a display controller 48 for switching a video image cut screen for performing the deleting work of the predetermined part of the moving image information, a synchronous screen for performing a corresponding work of the moving image information and the screen image information, and a preview screen for performing a display confirmation work of the screen information according to a user's designation and displaying the screen.
