PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EL sheet endowed with double-sided light emission as well as natural lighting, in addition to high freedom in designing, and glass capable of double-sided light emission using the same. SOLUTION: The EL sheet 1 has a first transparent electrode layer 3, a first light-emitting layer 4, a first insulating layer 5, a backface electrode layer 6, a second insulating layer 7, a second light-emitting layer 8, and a second transparent electrode layer 9 sequentially laminated on a transparent substrate 2. Further, an opening for natural light 14 constituted of the transparent substrate 2 and the first transparent electrode layer 3 alone is fitted on an inside of an outer periphery end face 4a of the first light-emitting layer 4. With this, the EL sheet 1 is endowed both with the double-sided light emission and natural lighting. Further, since the first transparent electrode layer 3, the backface electrode layer 6 and the second transparent electrode layer 9 are all fitted at the same side of the transparent substrate 2, there is no need of wiring on both sides, which enhances the freedom in designing.
