PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which enables stable obtaining of clear electrophotographic images of high density and high definition, by preventing the degradation in image density caused by the degradation in sensitivity, i.e. degradation in image density due to the potential fluctuation in a solid black image section by an inversion phenomenon and the occurrence of character thinning etc., liable to arise in high-speed copying or under a low-temperature and low-humidity environment at the forming of an electrophotographic image, and a process cartridge which uses the electrophotographic photoreceptor, an image forming method and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The organic compound is expressed by general Formula (1). In the general Formula (1), R1 to R11 represent hydrogen atoms, substituted or non-substituted alkyl groups, alkoxy groups or halogen atoms; Ar1 to Ar4 represent substituted or non-substituted aryl groups, aralkyl group, wherein Ar1 and Ar2, and Ar3 and Ar4 may respectively bond to each other to form rings; (k), (l) and (m) respectively represent an integer from 1 to 4; (n) represents an integer of≥1.
