PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce stress concentration of a gear and to improve load capacity. SOLUTION: This high-strength carburized gear is characterized in that a deddendum curve is created by a rack cutter having a cutting edge rounded part expressed by a three-dimensional Hermite curve.
