PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic coating system increasing an efficiency of a voltage interrupting device. SOLUTION: In the electrostatic coating system 10, a cathode voltage is applied on a coating to be sprayed toward a material to be coated wherein an anode voltage is applied. This coating system 10 is equipped with a tank 16 as a coating source, a spray 12 wherein the cathode voltage is applied, and a voltage interrupting device 26, arranged between the tank 16 and the spray 12, preventing the cathode voltage from being conducted to the coating source. The voltage interrupting device 26 is equipped with a changeover switch 40 having an inlet port 42 communicating with the coating source 16 and an outlet port 44 communicating with the spray 12, and a reservoir 28 having the first room 32 and the second room 34. When the changeover switch 40 is at the first position, the inlet port 42 communicates with the first room 32 and the outlet port 44 communicates with the second room 34, and when the changeover switch 40 is at the second position, the inlet port 42 communicates with the second room 34 and the outlet port 48 communicates with the first room 32.
