PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for immobilization, analysis and recovery advantageous for a biosubstance, and a surface plasmon sensor capable of making the best use of a merit of the method. SOLUTION: In this method, the biosubstance is arranged on a surface of a carrier using a prescribed photo-immobilization material, it is immobilized by light irradiation to execute detection, use, analysis, complex formation thereof or the like, the biosubstance is separated thereafter by a load of mechanical external force under light re-irradiation, and the biosubstance or a complex thereof is recovered while an activity and a function thereof are maintained. This plasmon resonance sensor of the present invention is provided with the photo-immobilization carrier, a light irradiation system, a surface plasmon measuring system and a loading means for the mild mechanical external force.
