PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple die for a punch press capable of prolonging the lifetime of a punch and the die by preventing generation of any eccentric load. SOLUTION: The multiple die 53 for a punch press comprises a plurality of punch units 65 and a punch unit holder 63 having a plurality of holes 69 with the punch units to be inserted therein. Each of the punch units comprises a punch 71, a stripper guide 73 to guide the punch, a punch head guide 77 to guide a punch head 93 provided on an upper portion of the punch 71, and a first spring 79 provided between the punch head guide and the stripper guide. A second spring 75 of the elastic force smaller than that of the first spring is held between stepped parts 85 of the holes 69 and a flange 81 of the stripper guide. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
